"What Your Future Holds And What You Can Do To Change It" is a book filled with a combination of life experiences, proven facts, and biblical truths that can give your life new meaning and purpose. It can help you see that whatever your circumstances in life may be, no matter how bad it may look, no matter how big the problem may seem… Things are subject to change-All things are possible to those that believe.

Thoughts, hurts, fears, bitterness and bad memories can prevent you from being able to go forward in life. It’s medically proven that these things can affect your mind, body, and emotions. They can also affect the future that God has intended for you. I have learned from experience and through study of God's word and prayer that though discouragement tries to win you over, it doesn’t mean that it’s over. So many of us have listened to the spirit of discouragement that says there’s nothing you can do, you just have to accept things the way they are, things will always be the same. I used to be one of those people until I found a supernatural God who rescued me.

I found hope when things looked hopeless. I found the way when it looked like there was no way. I wrote this book, not because I think I know it all but because I found out the truth. God doesn’t make the bad happen in life but will help you through the bad. I know that God's love is unconditional and that nothing can separate us from his love. I know that his love is the greatest power there is and that his love never fails.

I know God's unfailing love was a comfort to David - Psalm 119:76. Let his love be a comfort to you. Reading and meditating on the truths in this book can be life changing. I know that God is a very present help in times of trouble. As we give our lives to Jesus Christ, he will give us a new life in him. If anyone be in Christ then they have become a new creation, old things are passed away and all things become new.

As we yield ourselves to him he will take our lives and help us to be the person that he created us to be. Where there once was fear and inferiority there will be quiet and confidence. Where there once was worry and doubt, there will be peace that the world can’t give you, a peace that passes all understanding. Where there once was lack, there will be no more. Where once there was darkness, there will be light.

God's word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path - Psalm 119:105

Where there were tears of sorrow, will be tears of joy. Jesus came to make our joy complete. 1 John 1:4. My prayer for you is that by reading this book you will come to know the truth and will walk in it daily. There really is more to life, and that more is God. Through the reading of God's word you will come to know the creator of this universe in a deeper way. Your understanding of his love for you will deepen and you will “learn to live in a higher realm of life".

Deborah was inspired to write this book because she did not foresee having a future. From a childhood that threatened to destroy her, to a teenager who was the eyewitness to her father's murder, she survived supernaturally. She had a life changing encounter that transformed her future from darkness to light. She wants you to know that this power is made available for you today.

Deborah is a freelance writer, author and speaker, and was born and raised in Chicago with a heart to help hurting people. She's an Illinois Certified Domestic Violence Professional and speaks at churches, Universities, Women Shelters, and other events. Deborah has also contributed to anthologies in the past where her work was awarded and published in two different books: "Praise Reports which was released in January 2007" (Real-Life Stories of How God Works Miracles Today) and "How I met My True Love" (inspiring Real-Life Stories of How God Unites Soul Mates) which are available now at Amazon.com, Barnesandnoble.com, Target.com and bookstores everywhere. She earned her PhD from SHK (School of Hard Knocks).

Deborah and her husband Kirk, of 34 years, reside in a suburb just outside Chicago. They have 3 children, and 5 grandchildren. They have been blessed to serve as worship Leaders for over 25 years, and do not take it lightly but consider it an honor and privilege that God has called them. Spending time in praise and worship is where they long to be and have found there is no better place, because as we draw near to God, he draws near to us. Also, in the presence of the Lord, there is fullness of joy, and the joy of the Lord, is our strength. God has put a passion in their hearts to help others also to experience the life changing presence of God in their own lives. They currently serve as Worship Leaders at Good News Christian Center in Des Plaines, IL. She and her husband are also students of New Life Bible College.
